WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship Tournament Final Set
Finals of the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament set
Dec 31, 2024
The first ever WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion will be crowned on the January 13 2025 episode of RAW, with the tournament final confirmed during the December 30 broadcast.
WWE have been running a tournament over the past several weeks to determine who will get to hold the IC Title for the first time, and it has boiled down to Dakota Kai and Lyra Valkyria, with the two set to face off for the belt on RAW’s second episode of the Netflix era.
Kai overcame Zoey Stark on RAW, nailing a fireman’s carry into a Pelé kick for the win. Later on RAW, Lyra picked up a win over Kai’s Damage CTRL partner IYO SKY, countering a roll-up to sink a bridging pin for the 1-2-3.
The winner of the final will have their name etched in the history books, and will compliment the crowning of Chelsea Green as the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Champion in early December. Green also won a tournament to lift her title, defeating Michin in the final at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
