The highest paid wrestler signed to WWE has been revealed.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, seven wrestlers in WWE are currently earning well over $5 million per year and two more may end up earning over $5 million by the end of 2025. Outside of The Rock - who is effectively paid through TKO shares - the highest paid wrestler in WWE is Roman Reigns.

Reigns was the top star of WWE for the past several years, which included a 1316-day reign as Universal Champion and 735-day run as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion before his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40.

Roman Reigns has been one of WWE's highest earners for several years, as it was noted in 2022 that Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, and Randy Orton were WWE's highest-paid wrestlers.

Reigns' wage is much higher than the starting WWE salary on the main roster which begins at $350,000 per year as of 2025. This has increased since 2022 when it was $250,000 per year.

Reigns signed a new deal with WWE following 2022's WrestleMania 38 and his current deal is due to expire following 2026's WrestleMania 42.
