X-Division & Tag Team Championship Matches Set For IMPACT Emergence

IMPACT Emergence is set for Friday 20 August

Two Championship matches have been added to the IMPACT Emergence card on Friday 20 August.

Josh Alexander has been on the look out for more competition and his next challenger has been confirmed, as Jake Something steps up in an X-Division Championship match.

Something earned the opportunity to take on Alexander and go for gold by winning a Fatal-4 Way Match on Thursday's IMPACT Wrestling, defeating Rohit Raju, Trey Miguel and Daivari. Something will now get his first opportunity at his first Title in IMPACT while Alexander seeks to successfully defend the X-Division Championship for the eighth time.

Elsewhere on Thursday's show, a match for the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships was made as The Good Brothers will defend the Titles against Violent By Design and Willie Mack & Rich Swann in a Triple Threat Match.

The bout was made by Scott D'Amore on this week's IMPACT after Violent By Design confirmed to him that they wished to invoke their rematch clause on The Good Brothers. D'Amore agreed but said, as they had lost to Swann & Mack recently, the Championship match would involve all three teams.

IMPACT Emergence will also feature an IMPACT World Title bout, with Kenny Omega's number one contender being confirmed in a Battle Royal next week.
