'Young Rock' Reportedly Looking to Cast The Undertaker & Triple H For Season Two

Some big names to be cast

The second season of Young Rock is reportedly set to cover Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's first year in the WWE and is casting for icons such as The Undertaker and Triple H.

The first season of Young Rock looked at Johnson's adolescent years and, in a report from PWInsider, production on the second season is set to run through January 2022 with a premiere date set for March 15 next year.

A large aspect of the second season will look at The Rock joining and breaking through in WWE, and as such the show is casting actors to play big names from the promotion from the mid to late-1990s.

Casting is reportedly underway to bring in actors to play Triple H, The Undertaker, Downtown Bruno Lauer (Harley Whippleman) and The Brooklyn Brawler, Steve Lombardi, who was one of The Rock's first opponents in WWE.

The report also notes that the series is seeking to recast Ric Flair and Roddy Piper, following their involvement in the first season. Flair was played by Grayson Waller, who is now signed to the WWE NXT 2.0 brand.
