AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 is fast approaching as the show takes over the O2 Arena in London, England on August 24 later this month. Several matches have already been made official, and it is now known that IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr. will be defending his title in his home country. His challenger has yet to be determined, but it will be decided next week.

On last night’s episode of AEW Collision, a fatal four way match was booked for next week’s episode in Cincinnati Ohio at the Andrew J Brady Music Center; Daniel Garcia vs. Nigel McGuinness vs. Lee Moriarty vs. Hechicero, with the winner heading onto Forbidden Door to battle Zack Sabre Jr.

It was reported this week that big names such as Mistico and Hechicero would be missing Forbidden Door due to already being booked for a show on the same day. Eddie Kingston also recently provided an update on his status for the show.
