Another year is in the books for WWE NXT and the brand with Shawn Michaels as the booker produced a whole host of title changes across 2025.

The brand had a somewhat mixed year overall. There were positives like the rise of popular talents, but others felt like they should have already moved on to the main roster, and one gangster in particular was literally killed off in a Sopranos-esque segment before inexplicably coming back with a new gimmick in December.
