While Jeff Jarrett was often utilised as the top star in his father Jerry Jarrett's promotions, whether it be the CWA or USWA, he didn't become what is recognised as a world champion until his second run with World Championship Wrestling from 1999 until 2001.

Jarrett would go on to become a 12-time world champion across his stints in WCW, TNA, and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, with his many world title reigns in TNA being dubbed a reign of terror.
