Absent AEW Wrestler To Return Tonight On Collision

An injured wrestler will be back on AEW Collision

It has been announced that a return will take place on the August 17 edition of AEW Collision later tonight, as Eddie Kingston will back on AEW’s television screens for the first time in four months.

Kingston has been out of action ever since a brutal injury suffered in a No Rope Last Man Standing match with Gabe Kidd at NJPW’s Resurgence 2024 PPV event back in May. Kingston suffered from a torn ACL, torn meniscus, and tibular fracture, with the injury believed to keep him out until May next year. His last AEW match came back in April when he teamed with Adam Copeland and Mark Briscoe in a losing effort against the House Of Black at AEW’s Dynasty show.

On last night’s episode of Rampage however, it was announced that Kingston would be in attendance at Collision to air his thoughts on the upcoming AEW All In: London 2024 PPV. It isn’t known what Kingston will be saying about the coming August 25 show in Wembley Stadium, especially since he will not be competing at the event. Kingston underwent surgery early last month, revealing himself in a hospital bed in a social media post.
