Bad Bunny Reveals He Got Hurt During WWE Backlash Street Fight

Bad Bunny reveals he was banged up after Backlash match

Bad Bunny stole the show in his home of Puerto Rico at the Backlash PPV in a thrilling street fight against Damian Priest in a match which saw the returns of the likes of Savio Vega and Carlito.

Bunny put his body on the line, taking some big bumps such as a big spot through several tables in addition to taking punishment from weapons and other manoeuvres too. Bunny has spoken about competing at the event, and has revealed that he got hurt to the point where he thought he was ‘going to die’. He spoke to Zane Lowe on New Music Daily about his great experience in the ring.

“Wow, that was insane. That was really crazy, the people, the energy was another level. What happened that night, I’m never going to forget it. I remember, I said before the WrestleMania fight that day was one of my favourite moments of my life, but the Backlash fight in Puerto Rico was another level. It was really one of the biggest and best moments of my life, I really enjoyed that fight.

“I suffered. Yeah, I got hurt. I got hurt. My back, my back. My whole body, bro. My whole body. I felt that I was going to die after that match. I really thought that I was going to die after the match, but it’s part of it. I was prepared then, and now I’m going to drop a song. I know. I’m a crazy guy. I love it. I love it, and that’s what matters.”

Some reports have indicated that Bunny could well be back soon for another match after the huge success of this bout with Priest at Backlash.
