Dalton Castle Out For The Rest Of 2024 With Torn Biceps

Why Dalton Castle will miss the rest of 2024

Why Dalton Castle will be out of action for the rest of 2024 has been confirmed.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dalton Castle has suffered a torn biceps that will require surgery. The injury will keep him sidelined for the next several months.

"Torn biceps that was the deal with the surgery and everything," Meltzer said.

AEW CEO Tony Khan announced Dalton Castle would be on the shelf for the rest of the 2024, noting that some plans for ROH Death Before Dishonor were changed as a result of the injury. Castle was knocked out during the July 10 taping of Collision following a Flying Knee from Roderick Strong but it emerged soon after that Castle did not suffer a concussion.

AEW/ROH have been dealing with a number of injuries in recent weeks. Skye Blue is currently out of action with a broken ankle, while Jay White is dealing with a foot injury. Killswitch is currently wrestling with a partially torn biceps that he suffered on a recent episode of Collision.

Dalton Castle has been a part of Ring of Honor since 2013 and he has wrestled consistently for AEW and ROH since Tony Khan's purchase of Ring of Honor in March 2022.
