First Post-WWE Appearance For Drew Gulak Announced

Drew Gulak is making his first independent appearance after WWE release

Drew Gulak has been in the headlines plenty over the last few months, following accusations of misconduct from Ronda Rousey, reported comments by names in NXT suggesting that he was “bully” during his time on the developmental brand, and WWE’s decision to not renew his deal with the company, leading to him leaving amidst WWE’s post-WrestleMania NXT cuts in early May.

With Drew Gulak now officially a free agent, he has returned back to the independent scene, and his first post-WWE appearance has been officially announced for Thursday, July 4. On the Beyond Wrestling X account, it was revealed that Drew Gulak would be in attendance for the upcoming Beyond Wrestling Americanrana ‘24 event, which will be hosted in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Triple H was asked about the specifics of Drew Gulak’s WWE departure at the Backlash 2024 press conference, and retorted that certain news sources were unreliable, sparking some controversy. Gulak previously spent eight years with WWE, most notably winning the Cruiserweight Championship back during the days of 205 Live, where he was a part of the cruiserweight division, stemming from his involvement in the Cruiserweight Classic.
