Grizzled Young Veterans To Make AEW Debut On Collision
GYV will be debuting on AEW Collision later tonight
A big debut is set to take place on AEW Collision tonight live in Jacksonville, Florida at Daily’s Place. Announced via AEW’s social media platforms, James Drake and Zack Gibson of the Grizzled Young Veterans tag team will be wrestling their very first match in AEW. Later in the day it was revealed that their very first opponents would be former AEW World Tag Team & Trios Champions Anthony Bowens and Max Castor of The Acclaimed.
Grizzled Young Veterans parted ways with WWE in September 2023 upon the expiration of their contracts, taking to the independent scene in the time since to promotions such as TNA (challenging for the TNA World Tag Team Championships at Hard To Kill), DPW, REVOLVER, RevPro, and PROGRESS. It was revealed earlier this week that the pair were starting their own new wrestling promotion too.
The updated card for AEW Collision is as follows:
