Illinois Issues Indoor Mask Mandate Ahead Of AEW All Out 2021

The show is set for next Sunday

Wrestling fans attending AEW All Out 2021 next weekend will be required to wear a face mask at the NOW Arena after the Governor of Illinois reinstated a state-wide indoor mask mandate.

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker made the announcement on Thursday that, effective from Monday 30 August, will require the people of Illinois to wear facemasks in all indoor settings regardless of their vaccination status.

Pritzker said, per NBCChicago: "Illinois will join several other states that have reinstituted state-wide indoor mask requirements, regardless of vaccination status, effective on Monday. Masks work. Period."

The city of Chicago and Cook Country had already implemented indoor mask mandates and now the entire state will follow suit as Illinois - like numerous states across the US - try to get a grip of rising COVID-19 cases.

The mandate means all fans in attendance for AEW All Out 2021 next weekend will be required to wear face coverings. All Out 2021 is scheduled for September 5 at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, and will see CM Punk make his long-awaited return to in-ring action against Darby Allin.
