Will Ospreay Quits The Don Callis Family On AEW Dynamite

Will Ospreay leaves Don Callis Family on AEW Dynamite

Will Ospreay is no longer part of a faction in All Elite Wrestling.

Ospreay appeared on the July 3 edition of AEW Dynamite in a backstage interview with Renee Paquette, during which Ospreay reflected on his loss at Forbidden Door to Swerve Strickland. Ospreay was then interrupted by Don Callis, at which point Ospreay asked to be released from his contract with the Don Callis Family.

Callis briefly hesitated before he agreed to let Ospreay go, noting that he could do him a favour in the future. The two men then embraced before Kyle Fletcher walked away from Ospreay, leaving with Callis.

Will Ospreay has been a part of the Don Callis Family since the Summer of 2023 and he remained with the faction after he joined All Elite Wrestling full-time. Ospreay was firmly a babyface, though, despite being part of the heel faction that includes Don Callis, Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Trent Beretta.

Ospreay was then in action in the main event of AEW Dynamite as he successfully defended the International Championship against Daniel Garcia. A major heel turn took place after the match.
