Josh Alexander Sidelined With 'Personal Health Issues'

Josh Alexander out of action due to ‘personal health issues’

Former TNA World Champion Josh Alexander has pulled out of upcoming indie dates due to ‘personal health reasons’.

Alexander will not be doing any indie dates for the rest of May, with ‘The Walking Weapon’ posting the following update on X/Twitter:

“Hey all, I’ve had to pull out of my Indy dates for the rest of the month. I’m not injured. It’s all precautionary. I’ve been dealing with some personal health issues that leave me in constant pain. I’ll deal with it & be back ASAP,” wrote Alexander.

Alexander was set to face Shelton Benjamin at Prestige Wrestling’s upcoming Alive or Just Breathing show in LA on May 16, but Benjamin will now face Tom Lawlor at the show instead.

It has not been disclosed what health conditions Alexander is dealing with, with Alexander last wrestling at TNA’s Under Siege TNA Plus Special on May 3, with Alexander and Eric Young defeating Frankie Kazarian and Steve Maclin in tag team action on the show.

Alexander’s TNA contract was extended earlier this year, despite Alexander expressing a desire to exit to company to explore other options.
