Kenny Omega Returning To AEW On May 1 Dynamite

Kenny Omega returning on AEW Dynamite

Kenny Omega will make his first appearance on AEW TV since late 2023 next week.

Although there has been no official announcement from All Elite Wrestling, the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada has revealed that Omega will be appearing at the Dynamite taping on May 1.

"WINNIPEG... we have a secret. We will be seeing Kenny Omega at AEW in Winnipeg on May 1! Get your tickets now at https://bit.ly/4a5RAOR," the Canada Life Centre tweeted.

WrestleTix noted that 3,390 tickets have been distributed for the May 1 episode of Dynamite so far. Winnipeg is Kenny Omega, Don Callis, and Chris Jericho's hometown.

Kenny Omega has been gone from AEW since December 2023 following his diagnosis of diverticulitis. The former AEW World Champion has yet to undergo surgery and there is no timetable on when he will make his in-ring return.

During his absence from TV, Omega has been fired from The Elite by The Young Bucks and replaced with Kazuchika Okada. Omega has remained active through his Friday-night Twitch streams, during which he recently called out Rossy Ogawa.
