Multiple Major Matches Set For AEW All Out 2024

Major matches confirmed for AEW All out 2024

All In is in the rearview mirror, and now All Elite Wrestling head towards All Out, with the sixth annual supershow set for September 7.

After the events of All In, several major matches have been set for All Out, with AEW making the bouts official on the August 28 edition of Dynamite.

New AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson spoke on Dynamite, noting how he would retire from full-time competition when he loses the championship. Danielson then threw out an open challenge for All Out, only for TNT Champion Jack Perry to sneak attack him and seemingly accept the match.

Former champion Swerve Strickland is hopeful of bouncing back from his Wembley Stadium loss at All Out, with Strickland set to meet blood rival Hangman Page for the fourth time in singles competition. There is famously no love lost between the two, with Page attempting to interfere in Swerve’s title match with Danielson last Sunday. On Dynamite the two met face-to-face, with Swerve suggesting the two finally settle their differences in a Steel Cage Match after Hangman had accused Strickland of being unable to beat him without outside help.

Willow Nightingale picked the stipulation for her match against former partner Kris Statlander on Dynamite, with Willow getting the advantage after winning a mixed tag match with Tomohiro Ishii against Stat and Stokely Hathaway on the All In Zero Hour pre-show. ‘The Babe with the Power’ has decided she wants a Chicago Street Fight with Statlander, with her CMLL Women’s Championship on the line.

After returning at All In, Daniel Garcia continued his vendetta against MJF on Dynamite, with ‘Red Death’ wanting to put the former AEW American Champion out of commission permanently. MJF had been running Garcia down on the mic when the PWG World Champion attacked, and after officials separated the two it was announced that they’ll clash in singles action at All Out.

Current card: AEW All Out - September 7, 2024:

  • Bryan Danielson (c) vs. Jack Perry - AEW World Championship
  • Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Page - Steel Cage Match
  • Willow Nightingale (c) vs. Kris Statlander - Chicago Street Fight for the CMLL Women’s Championship
