New Match Added To WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2019

The winner will face Adam Cole at Survivor Series...

WWE previously announced that Killian Dain, Pete Dunne and Damian Priest would face off in a triple threat match on Wednesday's episode of NXT to determine the #1 contender for Adam Cole's NXT Championship.

However, within two hours of the announcement, the match had been moved to Saturday's NXT TakeOver: Wargames. The winner will face the Leader of the Undisputed ERA the next night at Survivor Series.

All three superstars have been embroiled in a rivalry since the October 16 edition of NXT. During the episode, Dunne proceeded to snap Dain's fingers. The Bruiserweight then tasted defeat at the hands of Priest after suffering a low blow.

Since then the feud has only escalated. Before their scheduled match on last week's episode, both Dunne and Dain were attacked by Priest. The brawl moved around Full Sail University, before culminating after Priest tossed a security guard at his future opponents followed by a dive to the outside.
