Next Major WWE NXT Event Revealed

Although the event has yet to be officially announced, WWE NXT will hold their next pay-per-view/premium live event on Sunday, September 1, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported. The event will be WWE NXT No Mercy and the show is scheduled to emanate from Denver, Colorado.

The show will be held on the same weekend as WWE Bash in Berlin, which is scheduled to take place at the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany.

WWE NXT held their latest major show on Sunday, July 7 as Heatwave took place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada one day after Money in the Bank. The show has been heavily praised by fans and critics alike, particularly the main event for the NXT Title, the NXT Tag Team Title match, and Oba Femi vs. Wes Lee.

WWE revived No Mercy for a major NXT show in September 2023. Headline matches at the event included Becky Lynch vs. Tiffany Stratton in an Extreme Rules Match, and Ilja Dragunov vs. Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship.

Before No Mercy, WWE will hold the Great American Bash TV special episode of NXT on Tuesday, August 6.

Major plans are also in the works for NXT as the brand prepares to move from USA Network to The CW and the debut episode on the channel is planned to air outside of the WWE Performance Center.
