Possible Reason Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso At WWE WrestleMania 40 Was So Underwhelming

Jey Uso feels he let fans down at WWE WrestleMania 40

Jey Uso was involved in what many fans considered the worst match at WrestleMania 40 when he faced his brother Jimmy Uso in singles action. The 11-minute match was laden with Superkicks and featured a widely-criticised spot where Jimmy apologised to his brother, only to hit him with a Superkick and an Uso Splash. Jey won the match soon after with some more Superkicks and an Uso Splash of his own.

Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso currently has a 2.84/10 rating on Cagematch, while Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter awarded the contest 3/4*.

Speaking with Gorilla Position, Jey Uso admitted he feels like he and Jimmy let people down at WrestleMania. Jey also revealed, however, that time was cut from their match.

"I just said this to someone. I kinda felt like we did let the people down. Yeah, man, because I wanted to go out there and have a straight-up banger too. I wanted to do the wrestling part but let alone make sure the emotion part is there. It was just a time issue. You know what I'm saying? You just gotta play your position on the team. That's what happened. I'm still happy though, uce, I got a singles match at WrestleMania with my brother. That's a big picture. So, I'mma always have me and him in a face-off at WrestleMania. I'mma frame a picture, that's always, it's marked off our box. I just wish we could have went the way I know we can, but," Jey stated.

After being asked if he found out time was being cut from their match on the night, Jey added: "Oh, yeah. 'Yo, yo, man, they went over this many minutes. Sorry, sorry.' You know, it's all good, you know. Just go out there and handle business."

Jey Uso will challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash on May 4. Jimmy Uso, meanwhile, has been kicked out of The Bloodline by Solo Sikoa.
