Report: AEW Morale Continues To Improve

AEW have had a difficult 2022 behind the scenes

Despite strong PPV business and acclaimed matches, AEW will have seen 2022 as somewhat of a year to forget, with a host of backstage incidents and periods of low morale, never mind an abundance of injury worries.

Post-All Out and the now infamous Elite/CM Punk brawl, several members of AEW’s locker room stood up to try and improve morale and unite the team, and Fightful Select have reported that morale backstage continues to improve, with several AEW sources telling Fightful positive things about the morale and direction of the locker room of late.

In the wake of All Out it was reported that Chris Jericho, Bryan Danielson, and Jon Moxley in particular stepped up as locker room leaders, calming tensions in a locker room that also saw Eddie Kingston and Andrade el Idolo suspended for their part in different backstage fights.

This will be of good news to AEW, who will certainly be looking to build upon this and head into 2023 with a strong united locker-room, especially as the company look to enter negotiations for a new TV deal in the coming months.
