SPOILER: When Wardlow Will Face Samoa Joe For The TNT Championship Revealed
Wardlow will have his TNT Title match with Samoa Joe soon
Fans won't have to wait long for the grudge match between Wardlow and Samoa Joe.
Wardlow was in action at Wednesday night's taping of AEW Rampage, defeating Exodus Prime in a quick squash. Following the encounter, Wardlow called out Joe. The TNT Champion answered and said he wouldn't fight Wardlow tonight, but he will face Mr Mayhem for the TNT Title on the New Year's Smash edition of Dynamite on December 28. That show will emanate from Broomfield, Colorado.
The exchange between Wardlow and Joe will air on Rampage on Friday, December 16.
Wardlow and Samoa Joe were previously allies in All Elite Wrestling, teaming together as WarJoe following September's All Out pay-per-view. The Samoan Submission Machine would turn on Wardlow, though, and Joe would go on to end Wardlow's reign as TNT Champion at Full Gear, winning a Three-Way that featured Mr Mayhem and Powerhouse Hobbs.
Samoa Joe has successfully defended the TNT Championship twice since winning the belt against Darby Allin and AR Fox.
