Report: Bandido To Be Added To AAA Mega Title Five-Way

Bandido returns to AAA!

Bandido will have the opportunity to become wrestling's new belt collector on December 4.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer, Bandido will be the fifth man in the AAA Mega Championship Five-Way at TripleMania Regia in Monterrey. Bandido's participation in the match has yet to be officially announced but Meltzer noted the luchador was a late addition to the card.

Bandido joins El Hijo del Vikingo, Samuray Del Sol, Jay Lethal and Bobby Fish in the match for the vacant title. Kenny Omega was originally advertised to defend the gold against Vikingo at TripleMania Regia but the title was vacated due to injury.

December 4 will mark Bandido's return to AAA, having not wrestled for the promotion since 2018. He performed in Mexico for AAA's rivals CMLL from 2019 but he and the company agreed to part ways earlier this year.

If Bandido wins at TripleMania Regia, he would become a world champion in three different promotions as he is the reigning world champion in both Ring Of Honor and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.

AAA shows have been difficult to watch for international fans in recent years but TripleMania Regia is available to order on FITE TV.
