Report: More Info On NWA Content Being Removed From YouTube

The content was pulled some time over the weekend

The NWA recently removed all of its video content from YouTube, including all episodes of NWA Powerrr and NWA Shockwave.

A report from Wrestling Inc. claims the content removal is due to NWA signing an exclusive distribution deal for its content going forward, with the announcement of said deal apparently coming soon.

No word on who the deal is with, but reports state it ‘is not WWE or AEW’, and that the deal should make the NWA more money than what they were getting from YouTube ad revenue.

In 2020, NWA President Billy Corgan shot down rumours of NWA’s demise, promising that NWA Powerrr would return. Television tapings for future NWA content have been scheduled for March 21 -24, but again no word on what this content will be.

It will be interesting to see what this new deal with mean for NWA current partnerships, most notably AEW, who have prominently featured the NWA Women’s World Championship on their programming.
