Report: Potential Venue For AEW Full Gear 2022
Full Gear will be AEW’s final PPV of 2022
When this weekend's All Out is over, AEW will be looking ahead to their last PPV of 2022, with Full Gear likely set for November.
No details have been announced yet for the show, but a report from Fightful Select may shed light on a potential date, and a possible venue. Per Fightful’s report, several AEW talent were told earlier in August that the plan is to host the fourth annual Full Gear in Newark, New Jersey.
The last time AEW ran a show in Newark they drew over 14,000 to the Prudential Center back in January, and a return to the venue makes the most sense. Full Gear is also rumoured to be scheduled for the weekend of November 19/20, but also always, nothing if official until confirmed by AEW.
AEW will hoping to build upon the success of Full Gear 2021, when over 10,000 poured into Minneapolis’ Target Center to see Adam Page finally defeat Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship.Full Gear was hosted in Daily’s Place in 2020, and in Baltimore’s Royal Farms Arena in 2019.
