Tony Khan reportedly 'has a knack' for booking battle royals
Although not every battle royal is a direct home run, for the most part AEW’s battle royals feature a strong structure, storyline threads and good moments, with the 21-Man Blackjack Battle Royal for Orange Cassidy’s International Championship at last weekend’s Double or Nothing PPV being an example of where a match of this type was well-received.
A report on Fightful Select dove into the reception of this bout and where the success of it can be attributed to.
