The latest on Deonna Purrazzo’s IMPACT Wrestling contract status
With Chelsea Green having recently departed IMPACT Wrestling for a WWE return, questions have been asked of the future of Green’s VXT tag partner Deonna Purrazzo.
A former two-time IMPACT Knockouts World Champion, ROH Women’s World Champion, and AAA Reina de Reinas Champion, Purrazzo has had a gold laden run since rejoining IMPACT in 2020. A report from Fightful Select suggests that ‘The Virtuosa’ is set to remain with IMPACT through 2023, with IMPACT believed to have exercised a one year contract extension when Purrazzo’ s original deal was coming to an end in late 2022.
Purrazzo signed with IMPACT after being released from WWE in April 2020, with Purrazzo assigned to NXT during her WWE tenure. However, during her two year run in NXT, Purrazzo only wrestled on television on 16 occasions.
Purrazzo has also had one run with the IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Championships during this most recent run, having reigned with the titles for 56 days alongside Chelsea Green before dropping the belts to The Death Dollz in October 2022.
