Report: WWE Looking To Bring Back Sarray
WWE has their eyes on a new signing
With WWE’s apparent hiring freeze now over as the company’s sale and merger with the UFC has now gone through , with the signings of the likes of Nia Jax, Kairi Sane, Jade Cargill, and Brian Pillman Jr. all taking place in recent months, it looks as though another name is on WWE’s radar.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful during Fightful’s WWE Crown Jewel 2023 post-show, it was reported that WWE were looking to potentially bring back Sarray, who was released from the company in March earlier this year.
Sarray previously signed with WWE back in 2020, though due to the pandemic, her debut was delayed until the following year when she finally arrived in April 2021, defeating Zoey Stark on NXT TV. She would become a part of the revamped “NXT 2.0”, sporting a bizarre gimmick where she went from a student to a wrestler with the help of a magical medallion apparently given by her grandmother. Creative issues would crop up due to her character direction, and the two sides parted ways.
