SPOILER On TNA World Title Plans At Slammiversary

TNA Slammiversary main event plans revealed

TNA Wrestling's plans for Slammiversary were put in motion at the promotion's TNA IMPACT tapings from Chicago, Illinois on Saturday, June 15.

TNA held the tapings following their Against All Odds special and the company's plans were revealed at the taping, including the plans for the main event of Slammiversary.

WrestleZone (via X user Cory) noted that it was announced at the TNA IMPACT tapings that Moose will defend the TNA World Championship in a Six-Way Elimination Match at Slammiversary. Five qualifying matches will be held to determine Moose's opponents at the pay-per-view.

The TNA World Title has been on the line in an Elimination Match at Slammiversary before, most recently at Slammiversary 2020 when Eddie Edwards, Rich Swann, Eric Young, Ace Austin, and Trey Miguel clashed to crown a new IMPACT World Champion after Tessa Blanchard was stripped of the belt.

Matches also set for Slammiversary at the TNA IMPACT tapings were Mustafa Ali vs. "Speedball" Mike Bailey for the X-Division Championship and Jordynne Grace vs. Ash By Elegance for the TNA Knockouts World Title.

Slammiversary will emanate from Verdun Auditorium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on Saturday, July 20. The show has already sold more tickets than any TNA show in the past 10 years

Before Slammiversary, TNA will tape the build to the show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 28 and June 29.
