Tony Khan Says "Most Important Announcements In AEW History" Are Coming
Big announcements are coming soon for AEW
No one loves a good announcement like AEW president Tony Khan. He has become somewhat synonymous with making announcements, with AEW having plenty of big ones over the last several years such as incoming debuts of notable stars, big stadium events and… reality TV shows (okay we’ll ignore the last one).
It looks as though AEW will be greeted with some more huge announcements in the coming months, as Tony Khan has teased that several announcements are looming, and that they are among the biggest and most important in AEW’s history. Prior to last night’s August 10 episode of AEW Collision in Arlington, Texas, Khan took to X to tease these announcements.

One of these announcements is likely set to be the agreement of a new rights deal with Warner Bros Discovery - something which has been imminent ever since their exclusive negotiation window ended recently. Khan recently played down talk of a deal being done between the two sides.
