WWE NXT Replay To Air Head-To-Head Against AEW WrestleDream

WWE NXT vs. AEW WrestleDream on October 12

All Elite Wrestling and WWE NXT are set to go head-to-head in just a couple of weeks.

The Wrestling Observer has reported that a replay of WWE NXT will air on Saturday, October 12 from 8 pm to 10 pm ET. The replay will air head-to-head with the first two hours of AEW's WrestleDream pay-per-view from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington.

WWE counterprogramming AEW on The CW may be part of a new strategy as a WrestleMania documentary aired head-to-head against AEW Collision on Saturday, September 28.

Live episodes of WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite will go head-to-head on Tuesday, October 8 and the shows will go head-to-head again on Wednesday, November 6 as NXT looks to avoid airing against the US presidential election between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

WWE NXT will premiere on The CW from Tuesday, October 1. The move to a new network will reportedly coincide with changes to NXT, with a metallic look potentially planned for the Tuesday night show. The WWE Performance Center has already undergone changes and the inaugural episode of WWE NXT on The CW has been listed as TV-14
