WWE Performance Center Recruit Bobby Steveson Gets New Ring Name

A new name for the new recruit

Say goodbye to Bobby Steveson and say hello to Damon Kemp!

WWE Performance Center recruit Steveson has revealed on social media that his new name in the promotion will be 'Damon Kemp' going forward.

Writing on Twitter, he said: "The name is DAMON KEMP and I' am going to smash your favorite Super Star.. coming soon."

WWE applied for the trademark for the name 'Damon Kemp' in early November and have now given the name to one of their newest individuals in the developmental system.

Kemp is the real-life brother of Gable Steveson, who won an Olympic Gold Medal earlier this year and was signed by WWE in early September. Gable was drafted to Monday Night Raw in the final round of the 2021 WWE Draft in October.

Like his brother, Bobby was an amateur wrestler at the University of Minnesota, which was also the same as Brock Lesnar. Bobby is yet to make his NXT debut but began training with the promotion earlier this year.
