WWE Raw Switches Back To 2 Hours

WWE Raw becoming two hours until the end of the year

For the first time in over 10 years, WWE Monday Night Raw will be a two-hour show once again.

It was announced during Monday's Raw that the show will become a two-hour series from October 7 until the end of 2024 for Raw's final months on the USA Network. Raw will remain three hours for the remainder of the build to Bad Blood.

"BREAKING: #WWERaw will be on @USANetwork from 8pm ET to 10pm ET starting on Monday, October 7th and through the rest of 2024 culminating with the @USANetwork finale on Monday, December 30!" WWE tweeted.

Upon the show's debut in 1993, Monday Night Raw was a one-hour programme before it was expanded to two hours in 1997 as the show competed with WCW Nitro. Raw then moved permanently to three hours from the show's 1000th episode in July 2012 and the series has remained three hours ever since.

Raw's time as a three-hour show has been divisive amongst fans and talent, with Seth Rollins calling a three-hour Raw in 2022 "obnoxiously long."

When Raw moves to Netflix, the show will reportedly revert to being three hours.
