WWE’s Charlotte Flair Backstage At AAA TripleMania XXIX

Charlotte was at Triple Mania supporting Andrade El Idolo and Ric Flair

As seen at this past weekend’s AAA TripleMania XXIX event, Ric Flair made a surprise appearance, appearing in the corner of Andrade El Idolo during Andrade’s challenge for Kenny Omega’s Mega Championship.

Now it appears that Flair didn’t travel alone, as it seems that Charlotte Flair was backstage at the event.

AAA commentator Hugo Savinovich alluded to Charlotte’s presence live on air, saying he didn’t know if she was watching at home or from backstage, whilst images have since surfaced on social media of Charlotte, Ric Flair, and Konnan hanging out at the event.

Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer had heard ahead of time that Charlotte would be travelling for the show, saying:

“I had been told sometime back that she was going to Mexico City. Obviously, she could not appear on the show [because] that would be a total violation of the contract but Ric Flair, who is a free agent, did appear on the show… so I presume that Ashley Flair was backstage as I was told she was going to be since she didn’t show up in Charlotte, her own hometown.”

Charlotte was advertised for a WWE house show in Charlotte, North Carolina, on the same night, advertised to face Rhea Ripley and RAW Women’s Champion Nikki A.S.H.
