WWE 'Thrilled' With Jacob Fatu's Run So Far

WWE very happy with Jacob Fatu

Jacob Fatu has continued to impress within WWE since his debut.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE have been "thrilled" with Jacob Fatu's work on WWE programming, with one source stating the former MLW World Heavyweight Champion "brings a true element of danger."

Jacob Fatu made his WWE debut on the June 21 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, aligning with Solo Sikoa's Bloodline. Fatu has already secured gold in WWE, winning the World Tag Team Championships with Tama Tonga from #DIY on the go-home edition of SmackDown before SummerSlam.

Fatu was then involved in the main event of SummerSlam, interfering on behalf of Solo Sikoa during his Undisputed WWE Championship Bloodline Rules Match against Cody Rhodes. The interference saw Fatu put Rhodes through the announce table with a splash, at which point he was planned to sell an injury.

Speculation suggested Fatu may have suffered a legitimate injury while executing the splash and he was spotted in a walking boot following SummerSlam, with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H noting the Bloodline member was "a little banged up". As of last word, the belief was Fatu is okay following SummerSlam but there has been no confirmation beyond that.
