AEW Collision Unlikely To Air Next Week

Don't expect to see an episode of AEW Collision next week

AEW Collision is regularly scheduled to take place every Saturday night, but on October 12, AEW will be hosting the 2024 WrestleDream PPV, meaning that Collision will not be able to take place on its regular time slot on Saturday. In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that as of press time, there was no plan for AEW to hold Collision at all.

Prior to the All Out 2024 PPV, AEW held a three-hour line-up of both Collision and Rampage on the Friday night before the PPV, but it was revealed that this will likely not be the case this time around. Collision went up against Friday Night SmackDown and ultimately did very poor numbers, which may have contributed to AEW deciding against holding an episode of Collision and Rampage back-to-back on October 11.

AEW Rampage is currently scheduled to take place on Friday as per usual. Ahead of AEW’s new TV deal with WBD, it looks as though Rampage will be cancelled, so this coming few months will host the final ever episodes of the one-hour show which has been around since 2021.
