Andrade El Idolo has undergone surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle, he revealed on Twitter.

"My first surgery, I can't believe it happened. A few months ago,I tore my pectoral. Thanks god! I could and wanted to finish my match. I kept working because I love the business but we know that many people do not value your effort, these days off I took the opportunity to go to Dr," Andrade tweeted.

When Andrade sustained the injury was not revealed but he did post a picture of him running at Matt Jackson before hitting the Double Knees, hinting he suffered the torn pec during the first round of the AEW World Trios Title Tournament when he, Rush, and Dragon Lee faced The Elite.

Andrade wrestled following that match in the Casino Ladder Match at All Out and he was scheduled to face 10 in a Mask vs. Career Match on Rampage soon after. The bout was scrapped after Andrade reportedly punched Sammy Guevara during a backstage altercation and El Idolo was suspended from AEW as of last word.
