Best Friends, Orange Cassidy Join NJPW's CHAOS

CHAOS grows

New Japan Pro-Wrestling's CHAOS has several new members.

Ahead of Wednesday's edition of AEW Dynamite, Rocky Romero caught up with Chuck Taylor, Orange Cassidy, Wheeler Yuta and Kris Statlander backstage and invited them and Trent? to join the NJPW faction at Kazuchika Okada's behest.

Orange Cassidy wasn't sure what was going on but Chuck Taylor accepted the invitation on the AEW group's behalf and they are officially the latest additions to CHAOS.

AEW President Tony Khan reacted to the news, tweeting: "Okada has spoken. @orangecassidy + the Best Friends are in CHAOS. Rocky, think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."

Best Friends and Orange Cassidy's addition to the faction comes on the eve of Kazuchika Okada's return to the United States. The Rainmaker hasn't wrestled in the US since November 2019 but he is set to take on Buddy Matthews at NJPW's Battle In The Valley show in San Jose on Saturday, November 13.

Formed in 2009, CHAOS was originally headed up by Shinsuke Nakamura and Kazuchika Okada became the faction's leader following The King Of Strong Style's departure in 2016. Current members of the stable include Tomohiro Ishii, YOH, Toru Yano, Rocky Romero, YOSHI-HASHI, Robbie Eagles, Hirooki Goto and Mikey Nicholls.

Trent? and Chuck Taylor were formerly members of the group during their NJPW runs but they left to sign with AEW in 2019.
