Booker T "Loving" His Time On WWE NXT

This is your Shucky Ducky Quack Quack news story of the week

Booker T is currently 'loving' his time working on NXT.

The WWE Hall of Famer was made an NXT announcer in October, and now calls the action alongside Vic Joseph. He had previously worked as an announcer on both Raw and SmackDown and had acted as a panellist on various shows, including the short-lived WWE Backstage.

Speaking on a recent edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, the five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion implored fans to check out NXT, saying:

"Watch the show, man, become a part of it, because it's special. These are the guys we're getting a chance to see before they make it to the SmackDown roster, before they make it to Raw. And me, personally, I'd like to see some of those guys stick around in NXT for a while just because they really make the brand stand out".

Likening the experience of working on NXT to his own Reality of Wrestling promotion, Booker said:

"I'm loving it. I'm so loving it. It feels so much like Reality of Wrestling. You have a pep talk after the show. The guys are wanting more, and they'll stay there all night if they could. I love being at NXT. I can honestly say I didn't think I'd feel the way I do right now about NXT, I just didn't"

Booker is reportedly under contract with WWE until 2029.
