Brock Lesnar Returns To WWE On Raw

Lesnar renewed hostilities with an old rival

Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE during Monday's Raw in Brooklyn, where he attacked then-United States champion Bobby Lashley during an in-ring confrontation.

Lashley was about to defend his United States title against Seth Rollins on Raw, but was first confronted by Lesnar.

Lesnar ended up hitting Lashley with two F5s, and further weakened Lashley by applying the Kimura lock. The battered Lashley then lost the US Title to Rollins, after Rollins successfully goaded the injured champion into going on with his title defense.

For Lesnar, it's his first appearance since SummerSlam on July 30, when he fell short to WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing match for the title.

Lesnar and Lashley feuded with one another early in 2022. They faced off over the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble in January, which Lashley won following interference from Reigns. Lesnar ended up regaining the title inside the Elimination Chamber in February, though Lashley never made it into that match, after sustaining an injury while waiting in his Chamber pod.
