Daniel Garcia Vs. Wheeler Yuta Added To ROH Final Battle
Yuta vows to settle the score
A match for the ROH Pure title has been announced for Final Battle next weekend, as champion Daniel Garcia defends his belt against the man he won the title from, Wheeler Yuta.
Yuta issued the challenge during a sitdown interview between Blackpool Combat Club and Jericho Appreciation Society members. After a match between Garcia and Jake Hager vs. Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli was set up for the following week's Dynamite, Yuta formally issued the challenge to Garcia for his title at Final Battle, calling it an end to their rivalry.
Garcia won the title from Yuta on the September 7 episode of Dynamite, in Garcia's hometown of Buffalo. Yuta previously defeated Garcia in a title match at Death Before Dishonor on July 23.
The current card for ROH Final Battle, taking place Saturday, December 10 at the College Park Center in suburban Dallas, includes the following:
* ROH World: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Claudio Castagnoli (if Castagnoli loses, he has to join the Jericho Appreciation Society)
* ROH Pure: Daniel Garcia (c) vs. Wheeler Yuta
