Exclusive: Ricochet Open To WWE NXT Return

Could we see Ricochet back in an NXT ring?

In recent months we’ve seen several main roster WWE stars work programmes in NXT 2.0, with the likes of AJ Styles, Natalya, and Matt Riddle lacing up in WWE’s Performance Center.

Now, current Intercontinental Champion Ricochet has admitted he would be open to an NXT return, saying the following to Cultaholic's Adam Pacitti during WWE’s recent live event in Newcastle upon Tyne:

“AJ went back and now Nattie’s down there and all these guys are going back down there and it seems like they’re having a great time,” said Ricochet. “Me and Carmelo [Hayes] had a thing. If Carmelo wants the heat, he can have it but whoever it is I would love to go down there. That’s always been a home of mine so, any time.”

Ricochet is a former NXT North American Champion, having won the title from Adam Cole at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV, Ricochet also won the 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic with Aleister Black, with his NXT run ending after being called up to Raw in February 2019.
