"Hangman" Adam Page, Colt Cabana & Wardlow Added To AEW Number One Contender's Tournament

Will it be Page vs. Omega in the finals...

All Elite Wrestling recently announced an eight-man single-elimination tournament will be held in the coming weeks to crown a new number one contender for the AEW World Championship. When the tournament will begin is currently unknown, but the finals will take place at Full Gear on November 7.

Rey Fenix, Jungle Boy and Kenny Omega were revealed as the first three participants soon after.

AEW added three more competitors to the tournament on last night's Dynamite and "Hangman" Adam Page, Colt Cabana and Wardlow will also fight it out to become the number one contender.

Following the announcement, Kenny Omega was asked for his thoughts on the new participants and he seemed less than happy about Hangman's involvement as he spoke derisively about his former tag team partner.

Hangman later issued a press release about joining the tournament. The former AEW World Tag Team Champion noted he decided to throw his name into the hat because the AEW World Championship is the best-looking title, he wants to earn another shot at the world title and another unintelligible reason.

Page has also entered a strict training regimen ahead of the tournament which involves him strengthening his religion so he can avoid Wardlow's "big muscle tits" and taking virtual slackline lessons so he can bounce around the ring like Rey Fenix.
