House Of Black Return Teased On AEW Dynamite

The House of Black could be returning to AEW soon

After several months away, it seems like the House of Black are set to return to AEW TV, with a vignette airing on the November 2 edition of Dynamite showing the group being reborn.

The video clip shows Julia Hart leading nameless HOB members as they wrap up Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews, and Brody King in body bags, then burying one body in the ground, one at sea, and burning another on a funeral pyre.

A voice over - said to be Hellraiser star Doug Bradley - talks of the worship of death, saying ‘all must end so that all can suffer anew’, before Malakai himself speaks saying: “Father of the Black Light, giver of the scythe that takes, giver of the scythe that creates. Forget me not father, see me now mother.”

The House of Black last wrestled at AEW All Out on September 4 in a loss to Darby Allin, Sting, and Miro, before Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews both went on hiatus, with the former having a contract release request denied before taking a break from the company to focus on his mental health. Rumours suggested that both Black and Matthews were angling for WWE returns.

All four members of the House of Black released short video snippets to their respective social media accounts last week, with the caption reading ‘An elegy of the forgotten’.
