House Of Black Win AEW Trios Titles At Revolution

The House always wins

The House of Black are the new AEW Trios champions, after defeating Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks at AEW Revolution on Sunday night in San Francisco.

Late in the match, the Bucks attempted the Meltzer Driver on Malakai Black, but Buddy Matthews nailed Nick Jackson with a knee strike as he springboarded into the ring. Black then hit Matt Jackson with the Black Mass, leading to Matt being hit with Dante's Inferno by Matthews and Brody King to set up the pin.

This is the first championship win in AEW for all three members of The House of Black. They had previously lost in the quarterfinal round of the tournament to crown the first AEW Trios champions to Hangman Page and The Dark Order.

Omega and the Bucks' second reign as AEW Trios champions ends after 53 days. They won the titles from Pac and The Lucha Bros in a Ladder match on January 11 in Los Angeles. That match was the final bout of a Best of Seven series between the teams.
