IMPACT World Title Match Official For Against All Odds

Josh Alexander will take on another Violent By Design member at IMPACT Against All Odds

The IMPACT World Championship match has been made official for the upcoming Against All Odds IMPACT Plus special. IMPACT announced on Tuesday that Josh Alexander will defend his title against Joe Doering.

The match came about in a post-show angle at Slammiversary after Deaner and Joe Doering attacked The Walking Weapon following his successful title defence against Violent By Design leader Eric Young. Deaner and Doering were chased off by IMPACT originals and they were berated by Scott D'Amore once they got back through the curtain. Deaner then reminded D'Amore that Doering had a DQ win over Alexander which resulted in the IMPACT EVP booking the world title match for Against All Odds.

The IMPACT Plus special will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, on Friday, July 1. No other matches have been announced for the show as of yet.

Since winning the title for a second time at Rebellion in April, Alexander has successfully defended the IMPACT World Championship against former champion Moose, Tomohiro Ishii, and Eric Young.
