Jake Something's IMPACT Wrestling Deal Reportedly Expiring Soon

What next for Jake Something?

Jake Something could soon be a free agent.

According to Fightful Select, the former Cousin Jake's contract with IMPACT Wrestling expires soon with his deal said to be coming to an end on February 28. If that is his final day with the company or the day his contract expires is currently unknown, though.

Fightful noted they haven't heard of extended talks between Something and IMPACT beyond that there was at least a brief discussion.

Should Something depart IMPACT, he would be the latest talent to leave the promotion with the likes of Brandi Lauren, Rohit Raju and Matt Striker having all parted ways with IMPACT in recent weeks.

Following his IMPACT debut in March 2017, Something would sporadically wrestle for IMPACT until he was signed full-time by the promotion in April 2019. He then teamed with Cody Deaner as The Deaners until Cody turned on him at Turning Point in December 2020.

The 32-year-old has performed as Jake Something since then and he has regularly wrestled for IMPACT, including in three matches in 2022 already against Madman Fulton, JONAH and 'Speedball' Mike Bailey.
