Jeff Hardy's Pre-Trial Hearing Pushed Back To January 2023

Jeff Hardy's pre-trial hearing is now set for January

Jeff Hardy's legal issues rumble on.

The former WWE Champion was set to have a pre-trial hearing on December 21 but his attorneys' motion to have the hearing postponed has been granted. Hardy's new pre-trial hearing is now set for January 18, 2023.

Hardy's attorneys requested the postponement as efforts to resolve his legal issues through a plea agreement had not been successful. The defence also stated they required additional time to "examine perceived anomalies reflected in the maintenance records and depose the law enforcement witness responsible for intoxilyzer maintenance."

Hardy is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing due to his arrest on June 13 on charges of DUI, driving with a revoked or suspended license, and violating restrictions placed on his license. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges. The pre-trial hearing was originally supposed to take place in October but it has been postponed on multiple occasions.

Hardy remains signed to All Elite Wrestling but he is currently suspended without pay. He can only return to the promotion if he demonstrates he can maintain his sobriety. Hardy has already completed a rehab programme since his June arrest.
