Jeff Jarrett Reveals AEW's Plans For House Shows

Jeff Jarrett on AEW house shows

Four years after the company was founded, All Elite Wrestling will hold their first house show tour in 2023 and the promotion will run their second-ever non-televised live event on Saturday, March 18 at the Hobart Arena in Troy, Ohio. The promotion haven't announced any additional dates but they plan to visit select markets across the United States on weekends.

The announcement of a house show tour comes after AEW hired Jeff Jarrett as the Director of Business Development and JJ revealed more about the company's plans for live events.

"It's gonna be a crawl, walk, run process. I believe the strategic mindset is [to] absorb as much information as we can, as quick as we can, to truly make...there's no perfect plan. We're gonna have our ups and downs, we're gonna have our hits and our misses. But coming out of the gate, there was a report online about how many shows WWE has reduced their non-televised live events, and we haven't been in the market since the launch of AEW. So I think the timing's real good, I think the day that our television show airs, live on Wednesday, and kind of dovetails into Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I think we're gonna start slow and start picking up the pace and kind of figure out [how to] eliminate the negative and accentuate the positive, and keep progressing," Jarrett said on Under The Ring.

Alongside his backstage role, Jarrett has been a regular on-screen talent in AEW as part of a faction with Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, and Sonjay Dutt.
