Keith Lee Asks Fans Not To Give Up on Him On Anniversary Of WWE NXT Championship Victory

Lee has been absent from WWE Raw since February

A lot has happened in the last year since Keith Lee won the NXT Championship.

On July 8 2020, Lee defeated Adam Cole at WWE NXT The Great American Bash in a Winner Takes All Match for both the NXT Title and the North American Championship in what was undoubtedly one of the highlights of his career so far.

Lee would be NXT Champion for less than two months, losing the belt to Karrion Kross before swiftly being moved up to WWE Monday Night Raw. However, Lee has not been seen on WWE television since defeating Riddle back in February.

The 36-year-old is still fighting to return to WWE and, as fans reminded him on Thursday that it had been one year since his huge NXT Title victory, Lee assured supporters that he will not quit in his pursuit to get back in the ring.

Lee wrote on Twitter: "Many of you are reminding me of this day a year ago. So much has happened since then, it feels so long ago.

"Patience my friends....there is zero quit IN me. So don't you quit ON me. I miss you. And I love you."

Lee has posted numerous updates on Twitter over the past couple of months, although details about his absence are still unclear. The Limitless One has said he will address the situation when he is ready.
